About the Town CIC is a not-for-profit organisation based in Skelmersdale. At the core of our organisation is our mission to help improve the mental well-being of our community, but we’re probably best known for providing members of the local community with our FREE magazine, About the Town – Skelmersdale.

But that’s not all we do!

ATT Central, our main hub based in Concourse Shopping Centre, is where we also provide a wide range of FREE and heavily funded opportunities for the local community. This includes training, development, socialisation, emergency food + household items and mental health support.

We also run a free business networking group once a month for businesses within West Lancashire.

Additionally, with the amazing support of the Concourse management, we have recently launched our ATT Art Studio! This was introduced to help us generate a stream of income to help us become sustainable for the long term, as every penny goes towards running our wider organisation.

Ultimately, we are passionate about collaborating and connecting with other local organisations to support our aim to help shape a better future for the community of Skelmersdale.
