Christmas is just around the corner, and many retail shops, including those at Concourse Shopping Centre, are well into their busiest time of the year.
The Concourse Centre has much to offer this Christmas. Firstly, we understand that not everybody fancies the idea of roaming around town when it’s freezing, snowing or raining, so the Concourse is the ideal place to go. It’s all undercover, so you can enjoy a comfortable shopping experience, whatever the weather. At Christmas time, the Concourse is transformed into a stunning festive wonderland, guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit.
The staff at the Concourse Centre do an incredible job of making people feel welcome. Whether it’s one of the cleaners lending an ear to some elderly people who may not have anyone else to talk to, or a regular visitor popping in the management suite for a chat, they’re always on hand to support visitors and shoppers alike.
In addition to the warm welcome and festive vibes, there is ample free parking for visitors, so you can wave goodbye to driving around for hours looking for a space. There are toilets and baby changing facilities on each level at the centre and it is also wheelchair and pram accessible. We also have a Walk-in Centre for any medical emergencies. The bus station is conveniently located at the centre, and there’s a taxi rank just outside, making it easy for non-drivers. Best of all, the Concourse Shopping Centre is within easy walking distance of almost all of the town.
Considering a visit? Here are some great stores to inspire your Christmas Shopping this year…
Murphy’s Butchers and the Womble Inn are ideal places to pick up your festive meats. Poundland is an excellent choice for stocking fillers, and Pep and Co., based in Poundland, has some great options for pyjamas and Christmas jumpers. Then there’s Superdrug, The Fragrance Shop, and The Make Up stall, offering a vast array of fragrances, pamper treats and more.
You will find luxury handmade, vegan and skin-friendly products at Bathroom Heaven, including bath bombs and shower whips, as well as custom-made gifts for men, women and children.
For all the gamers out there, there’s CEX. JJB Sports is a fantastic shop for all your designer gear and sportswear. You can also head down to New Look or Peacocks for some great clothing options for the big day or even to pick up a voucher for your loved one.
After all that shopping, indulge in some people watching in Siesta, the Coffee Pot or the Leisure Time Cafe, with a nice warm festive drink and a bite to eat while you soak up the festive atmosphere. Or wind down with a movie at Capitol Cinema, where you can see the latest releases for just £6.
New Year, New Business?
Thinking of opening your own business in 2023? Trialling a pop-up stall, located right at the front of the Market Hall, could help get you started. This option allows you to get a feel for what it’s like to run a business in the Concourse. It’s just £50 per week, including bills, for up to four weeks, and if you decide you want a more permanent home, we’ll find you a great stall.
Speak to Dianne on 01695 723785, pop into the Marketing Suite located on the first floor, or email dfletcher@lcpproperties.co.uk to find out more.
So, whether it’s your Christmas shopping or taking those steps to set up a business in 2023, the Concourse has got you covered! And best of all, this is all available on your doorstep.
