Share in the good news of one of ATT’s very own – Andy Forsyth, our dedicated journalist at About the Town Magazine, who embarked on an incredible 18-month volunteering journey.

Supported by ATT, Andy faced numerous challenges, courageously venturing beyond his comfort zone, working under tight deadlines, and expanding his skill set and knowledge. Andy, a former Edge Hill student who achieved a degree in Journalism, not only forged meaningful connections within the community during his time at ATT, but also spent time honing his craft, boosting his self-confidence, and experiencing profound personal and professional growth, and enhancing his mental and physical wellbeing along the way.

Now, we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that Andy is ready to embark on a new chapter in his life, channelling his exceptional journalistic skills to serve the broader community by setting up his very own business called “Wise AF Words.” Going forward, Andy will be offering his freelancing expertise to About the Town in a paid role, continuing to grace us with his exceptional talents and dedication.
