Step into the third age with U3A…

Skelmersdale U3A is in its 13^th year and still going strong!

U3A was established to enable people in retirement or semi-retirement to fill their time with activities and hobbies that keep them active, connected and healthy, and to prove that there is indeed a third age after middle age.

Members engage in activities and interests such as gardening, crafts, music, bowls and even visits to the Cinema. There are also groups such as Sunday Lunch Group or should you be looking to add a bit of spice to your life, the Curry Night Group is a new addition to the events calendar. You can even burn off those calories with the Walking Group!

With a range of events spread across the month, their newsletter has loads of information about the various groups and activities they host, so make sure you check it out on the website. The great thing about U3A is that you can pick and choose to partake in things that interest you and it costs less than a cup of coffee!
