The Calm Centre: A Sanctuary for Mental Wellbeing in Skelmersdale

Founded by Mandy, a certified coach in Baby Mindful, Relax Kids, and Charge Up, The Calm Centre offers a serene space for relaxation and personal growth. Located in Certacs House, Old Skem, Mandy’s mission is to provide a haven where people of all ages and backgrounds can find support and peace.

Mandy has extensive experience working with individuals from all walks of life, including youngsters with complex needs, seniors, and those experiencing significant life events such as pregnancy. Her journey into mental health advocacy began with a simple realisation: mental health is as crucial as physical health. This insight sparked a deep passion in Mandy, leading her to dedicate herself to supporting others in their mental wellness journeys.

At The Calm Centre, Mandy offers a varied weekly schedule of classes designed to cater to different needs and preferences. These classes include sessions in Baby Mindful, Relax Kids, and Charge Up, each aimed at fostering relaxation, mindfulness, and overall well-being. In addition to these classes, Mandy has created a well-being shop stocked with a range of items specifically chosen to promote relaxation and wellness.

Adding to her repertoire, Mandy has embarked on a journey to become a Reiki Master. Now fully qualified, she offers Reiki sessions as part of her services, providing an additional layer of support and healing for her clients. Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, complements Mandy’s holistic approach to mental health.
