Visit Barbados, fall in love…

With music and free flowing rum wherever you turn, it’s clear the people of Barbados sure know how to have fun! Barbados has a great mix of cosmopolitan style, yet with a historical vibe, and is one Caribbean island you’ll want to return to again and again.
Rejuvenating sunrises, relaxing sunsets, crystal blue waters, palm tree backed powder white beaches, Reggae bars, Calypso clubs, and some of the best restaurants the Caribbean has to offer await you in the beautiful island of Barbados.
Barbados is a small tropical island and is the most easterly of the Caribbean islands. It offers visitors world-class hotels, glorious white beaches that go on for miles, and a warm welcome from the locals. With an approximate flight time of just under nine hours from the UK, and the option of a direct flight, it’s an attractive choice for British holiday makers.
The cheapest time to travel to Barbados is between June and November. The driest time to visit is between December and May, however, even in ‘rainy’ season, with an average daily temperature over 24c, this beautiful Caribbean island has lots to offer and much to be enjoyed.
Its capital, Bridgetown, is a bustling colonial centre, a UNESCO world heritage site, and is well worth a visit. As are the sugar cane plantations, thermal baths, and the limestone formations of Harrison’s Cave. Don’t be surprised if you come across a green monkey or two during your stay, they are Barbados’s most famous resident and are often seen travelling through hotel grounds!
There’s an abundance of water sports available, and of course lots of fun nightlife, including fine dining restaurants and local pubs and clubs. If you’re into golfing, Barbados boasts five PGA standard golf courses.
The most popular resort for British holiday makes is St.Lawrence, commonly known as ‘The Gap’. Here you can wander from beach to restaurant in just a few steps, enjoy browsing the shops, and partake in a colourful array of nightlife, right on your doorstep.
Barbados, unlike many other Caribbean islands, is considered as safe as anywhere in the world as long as you take the same precautions you would anywhere else you visit, such as not walking in unlit areas late at night, and keeping your belongings in a locked safe when you leave the hotel, for example.
Discover what makes this incredible island so special, and experience the wonders it has to offer first hand by booking your next holiday to Barbados!
