The spirit of community collaboration was recently put into action when Delph Side Community Primary School reached out to local business Enviroseal, for assistance with their ailing pond.

Company Director Sam Tunley said, “It was evident that the existing pond liner had deteriorated, necessitating a complete replacement. A call for action was heeded, and a dedicated team set out to refurbish the pond. With a deep-rooted commitment to giving back to our community, we were compelled to support the school by donating all the labour and materials necessary for this restoration project. The first step involved a thorough cleaning of the area, followed by the installation of new geo textiles and a sturdy 1mm liner to ensure a long-lasting solution. As part of the renovation, we spruced up the pond’s borders by incorporating fresh stones, meticulously lining the perimeter.”
