Also, you need to consider that the extra cash you’ll earn may need to be declared as part of your yearly earnings. If you are on furlough, make sure you have permission from your employer before you start another paying job or business.

Start an eBay business:

You can start an eBay business using your phone, with as little investment you can afford.  The key is finding something to sell and making sure you do your research!  You don’t want to invest in an item that won’t sell. There are tools to find out what is selling and what prices they’re selling at.  Then you need to go and find a supplier. You may be able to find a drop ship company for the item you wish to sell.  This is a great option if you have zero cash to begin with. 

Have a sort out:

Not much of a side hustle or business opportunity, but you’d be surprised how much you can sell that’s lying around your home that you never use! Get it all on selling sites! Recycle or sell your old clothes for cash, recycle old mobiles phones or sell your books! Facebook has some great local selling sites, and they don’t charge anything to sell! This is more of a short term, fast turnaround side hustle, but really worth doing. 

Manage a social media account: 

Are you savvy on social media? Offer your services for a fee and manage a local businesses social media accounts!

Start a blog and set up an amazon affiliate account.  Share your blogs on social media and promote items related to your blog. Every time someone buys from your links, you get paid!
