August Newsletter

Welcome to your August Newsletter!

We hope you have enjoyed the summer? The weather has been a little up and down to say the least!  I think we are due for a few days of sun this weekend, so enjoy!  Why not head down to The Coach House this weekend for some cocktails and food?  Don’t forget to book your table!  Looking for something to do with the kids?  Cast North West offers the perfect day out!  It’s FREE to visit, there’s tons of animals, birds of prey, and they have recently built a park area!  The cafe has both inside and outside dining, and don’t forget, there’s a garden centre and a unique little gift shop.

Speaking of kids, they will soon be heading back to school, are you ready?  I think for many this is welcome relief, I am personally looking forward to enjoying a little more structure to the day!  If you are looking for some last minute kids school gear, Peacocks in the Concourse Shopping Centre has an offer on this bank holiday for 20% off everything!

Having lived and worked in Skelmersdale my entire life, I noticed that local magazine publications tended to leave Skelmersdale out. The only communication we were receiving was from our local newspaper, and I felt that there was a gap in the market to bring something unique to the town.
