ATT are excited to announce that we are collaborating with Beacon Photographic Club to bring you an exciting opportunity to feature your photography in About the Town magazine!
Beacon Photographic Club was set up in 2014 by a group of friends who enjoyed going out and taking great photographs and meeting people with the same passion. In March 2024, they began running Camera Walks which enabled members to practice their skills while serving as a great opportunity to socialise and chat with like-minded people, helping support positive wellbeing.
This summer, they are also planning a walk with the Skelmersdale Heritage Society, where the Society will talk about buildings past or present, while the Beacon Photographic Club will be on hand to teach people interested how to get the best shot of the local surroundings.
The club also hosts a variety of photography genres to cater for every style of photographer and is often out and about shooting various images from still life to models and local scenery.

The Competition…
ATT has teamed up with the Beacon Photographic Club to offer a local photographer the opportunity to have their work featured on the front page of our Summer 2025 issue!
To be in with a chance of winning, submit up to 3 of your best summer shots and send them to Beacon Photographic Club’s Secretary Danny Jackson by the 30th of August 2024 – beaconphotographicclub@outlook.com. The winner will be notified by 31st October 2024.
