Community Involvement
The heart of Concourse Shopping Centre is its commitment to the local community, and this autumn, that commitment is more evident than ever. Dianne, a driving force behind many of the Centre’s community initiatives, is passionate about supporting local groups and charities. The Centre offers a Community Kiosk free of charge to local CICs, non-profits, and charities to promote their work. This is just one way the Concourse supports the valuable work being done in the area.
The Friendship Bench, manned by the MitE Chaplaincy, continues to thrive as a safe space where community members can find a supportive ear. This initiative has become a cornerstone of the Centre’s community outreach, providing comfort and connection to those who need it.
Dianne is also actively involved in fundraising efforts, as part of the Majors charity team. She is currently organising a fundraising event at the ERooms on 2nd November, further demonstrating her dedication to making a difference in the community.
